Ukraine to ratify Association Agreement with EU as soon as possible

Ukraine is ready to ensure as soon as possible the speedy ratification of the Association Agreement with the European Union and expects the same steps from European capitals.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said this at the ceremony to sign the agreement in Brussels on Friday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported. "We are ready to hold the ratification as soon as possible. We also very much hope for quick ratification in European capitals," he said. He said that the completion of the ratification was an important step for the effective promotion of reforms and Ukraine's political association and economic integration with the EU. Poroshenko also said that foreign aggression that Ukraine is facing was a significant factor for this important step.
